Shane E. Sumner, born and raised near Pioneer. 1978 graduate of North Central (Pioneer) Local Schools. Married Tammy (Vollmer) in 1985. Three daughters and son in laws along with six grandchildren.

1978 – 2022: Worked full-time in father’s business (Sumner Equipment) of buying and selling used farm equipment. Duties included buying, trucking, repairing and sales. Eventually added a salvage yard that offered used, new and rebuilt tractor and combine parts. In 2004 sold our used parts inventory. Formed Sumner Tractor, LLC and continued selling used tractors along with new and rebuilt parts until December 31st, 2022.

1978-2020: Clerked for various auctioneers in the area. In 1996 received my apprentice auctioneer license and was sponsored by Col Steinke Realty & Auction Service. Received Ohio and Indiana auctioneer licenses and in 2003 Ohio real estate auctions along with private listings & sales.

2021 – Present: Joined the staff at Mary Stoller Realty & Auction Company, Inc. as sales agent and real estate auctioneer. Working in association with AA Brown Auction Service Ltd. Conduction personal property auctions.
